Thoughts creeping into my mind
Ever so cognizant of the time
Ticking seconds echo my despair
Choking thickness of this foul emotion-stoked air
Corner of my mind screams for reprieve
My soul demands we no longer deceive
In the end I want to breathe

Stepping into the tub of warm caress
Bubbles tickling these once perked breasts
I dream for a moment I may not follow through
Remembrance of a time with you
Tendrils of dark places pills can’t help me to escape
Sweep away the moment of pause in which I partake
Refections of the blade -A poem once made
Echo deeply within my mind of one that can’t be saved
I take this blade of poems, deep
Turning bubbles red as finally you hear me…Speak
