Intrinsic platitudes of space and
rhymes
Evolve far beyond the concept of time
Into the realms of thoughts that provoke
I delve into memories my soul evokes
Tears of joy or burdensome blues
I whisper as I cry these thoughts of you
Burrowing down my cheeks
Glistening orbs of the broken
Silence has screamed—have you awoken?
Misfortune’s mistress
Burdens the semblance of a hidden crack
Widened to a chasm beckoning me into the black
I blow a forgotten kiss into the abyss
Broken by life’s ire of pain dismissed
I tread the waters of my memories as my body burns
I yearn for the blade to take away today
My soul holds no desire to stay
Tell me what life is when all you do is survive
I chuckle in chaotic insanity as I point at my husk--Barely alive
