The Three Fates, Defined
By themasterhunter
Life is given to us,
complex thing it may be,
all men are created equal,
but after that we are free
to choose the path that we must.
Love is a confusing thing at the best of times,
People will kill for it,
Lie for it,
tell truths for it,
create for it and destroy for it.
Love is the dictator of emotion,
Anarchist, Really,
and if it thinks one way,
life and death be damned.
death doesnt descriminate,
It doesnt care If you are god or the devil,
Death takes away for some,
gives to others,
Death creates heroes,
Sometimes better seen as terrorists.
funny though, how we define,
where and what these fates,
and love is in our hearts,
without it we would die
yet some die for love,
while others live for it.
So I guess the question asked before,
really is less relevant,
The who the how, what and why,
and when may die.
Love is a cruel and unfair judge, jury, and executioner,
and reality be damned,
If love wants something,
You fill it's demands.

love is an anarchist and a terrorist...what a cool view of love...judge jury and executioner...seems like such a 180 on the popular opinion of love...in summary I "love" this poem.

I will admit that I was completely blown away by this piece ... Your definitions not only hit close (or as close as you can get to hitting them) but echo in the balance of the three [fates] that truly define who we are as a species. This is masterful inking (particularly for me who has read her share of traditional & underground poetry for more than a decade). Devlin.
