Liquid Days

By rosemaiden

Breathe with the water, in and out
Don't ever stop, take in every drop

Eyes fade everyday
To what extent will you pay

Hands folded
Body molded

Don't cry just sleep
In this peaceful deep

As time flows by with new beginnings
You will remain a frozen memory

So breathe in the water, don't you stop
Until you have taken in every drop

Reminded me of "The Abyss" movie about 15 years ago. They were able to breathe seawater after being injected with an oxygen transport enzyme, or something. Quite the painful paroxysm when taking in that first lungful. This work was exquisite, but frozen memory seemed a bit odd, perhaps another adjective maybe? Much enjoyed, thanks RM.
