The Rose

By rosemaiden

The rose is graceful and stands tall while hanging her head a little. She tells a story by how she holds herself. She stands tall with pride but holds deep sorrow therefore she hangs her head but so that it is barely noticeable. The red in her petals is from all the hurt and wounds she's acquired over time. The green is from her growth and strength that she has maintained.
