Deep in the Heart of Winter (We are Forever)

By DarkWolf

"As we lay together, curled up tightly in each others arms,
I lift my head, and without ever a word, She turns Her head up to me
Our lips meet in the total darkness of our den, and as we nuzzle gently
I wonder how She always knows when I am seeking Her affection
And not just repositioning my head for more comfort..."

...

Deep in the heart of Winter, when the winds are frost and snow-laden
We lay curled together inside each other
Her head pressed to the warmth of my chest
My muzzle buried in the perfumed silk of her raven locks

The frozen moonlight upon her skin
I still shiver at her slightest touch
Kissing, licking, biting
Instictive bond, beyond 'human' love

Blood-Born and Blood-Bound
Our Sacred Union, the gods cannot tear asunder
And let all mortal things beware
I shall give Death to any that try

For She is mine, and mine alone
To worship, adore, desire and please
No other shall know Her taste or touch
For the Dead only long for the Dead

And I, I am Hers, let all that be never-doubt
My command is Her wish, and my will, Her whim
We are One-flesh, Alpha-Mates,
Eternal Lupine Lovers, Entwined Souls

With gold-rimmed eyes we search the night
Along the ancient way, the path to the Grave
Deep in the heart of Darkness, the Forest of Shadows
Along the Cliffs of Eternity, and the shores of the Oceans of Blood

We hunt for our prey, feeding on Life at our leisure
We take what we need, we kill when we must
Death, a blessed ritual that renews us, sactifies us
Blood a Sacred, erotic thing, enhancing our Love

We run together, through the Graveyard of Life
We play among the Ruins of Death
Untouched by rot and decay, for this world is not ours
Her silhouette, in the Moonlight, gives beauty to even the darkest of places we go

The cold, unfelt.. daylight, unseen.. sorrow, unknown
We run together, through centuries, through millenia
One heart, beating endlessly, bound by no mortal or 'human' ideal
We are forever, Our Love, Undying

...

Deep in the heart of Winter, when the snows are heavy and frozen
We lay curled together inside each other
Her mouth pressed to the warmth of my throat
My eyes burning with the intoxication of everything that She is...
