Solitude

By Deadly Embrace

The rain falls outside
My window,
Painting this night with
Bitter lonliness and solace,
I can not recall time's of
Such joy..
For dwelling in this darkened abyss
As I have..
L.i.f.e., along with reality,
Slowly drifts away..
Into something different..
Something horrific and terrible,
As the demon inside me grows,
Tears begin to fall upon the window pane,
Slowly splashing away...
What once had meaning..
Once was loved...
Never again..
T.o.r.t.u.r.e.d.
I stare into this mist..
Only to see your shadow..
In the pale moonlight..
Staring back at me,
I long for the touch..
Of your mouth on mine,
But, your shadow fades..
Crumbling away,
As I drift further and further
into..

Amazing. Again the imagery is wonderful, sorrowful and so well worded. I loved it. -michael

Tears and rain, symbolisms one cannot seem to cleave...I find a hopeless affinity with rain...This was touching, although I wonder at the word solitude and if it should be something of such great suffering...
