Touch Me
By Soulseeker
I can feel your fingers caressing my skin.
They wonder amilessly across my scattered freckles.
They soothe my complexion's imperfections.
I can feel your lips brush against my cheek,
the warmth of your breath attacks my neck.
Your lips part to swallow me, to awaken me.
I can feel your words perice my ears.
They shock me, they push me, they comfort me.
I can feel them where words count the most.
Touch me if you must,
touch me if I ask.
Touch the ignored places,
the places typical people choose not to touch,
choose not to see.
But please be cautious,
for once it is finally touched it will yearn,
it will long to be touched more,
more than what time offers in this society.
Touching can be more than physical contact.
I need to feel.... I need this.
Touch me,
touch my soul, that's what counts the most.....

Wow that's deep. Really capturing from the start. "Touch the ignored places" makes me feel untamed, changes my view on romance. Thanks.

This work holds great ideas, especially the idea of awakening the ignored places in a person. Also - wander, not wonder, and pierce, not perice. I particularly like the transition throughout the work from physical to more theoretical/thoughful.
