What in the World?

By Gray Vision

Fidgeting,
Jerking,
Twirling,
Nodding,
Being chased
By an angry mob
Yelling,
Throwing rocks
Broken bottles,
Evading,
Running in zig zags,
Through a town
Into the woods,
Through the bushes
The mob draws near,
Cornered at a ledge
Over come with fear,
All efforts exhausted
Pitch forks drawn,
Inching backwards
Step by step,
Until there's no more
Thud,
Moan…
Hey?
Are you alright?
