Murderous Clock

By Musik2MyEyes

Time knows all
About me.
Repeats
Loops around
Over and over
Like a song
Stuck in my head.

Time opens wounds
Never letting them close.
Over and over.
Just when I thought
They might.

Time shows no empathy.
No remorse.
No guilt.
Continuous
Repetition
Of my past.
Played in front me
On the screen
Of my closed eyes.

Time pushes forward
Pulls back
But doesn't stop.
Ever.

Time doesn't always
Heal.

I agree with the person bellow me, Time never stops, but It is not the answer to everything, and or can't solve every problem...you have me thinking now. I liked this. ~Orion

Wow, you said that right... time doesn't always heal, but there is aways scars. Thanks for a great write.

  • A former member wrote: Another adage blown to bits.... time may be the wound..... but, eventually, our time will cease. Maybe it only heals when it stops. Either way, time is a bitch, and this write points that out well.

A very naturalistic vision of time and the healing process. These things are a state of mind and take as long as the mind needs. Painful.

  • A former member wrote: A clever depiction of a rather grim perception of healing...Though I am not in your shoes. An excellent flow and message.

That's so true, and even if time can heal, it leaves scars. Very emotional write, thanks for sharing. Scholar
