I'm sorry for your loss?

By Lylani

"I'm sorry for your loss"

no

There is no loss

If there was loss ... I would find
There would be hope
There is no hope

Desolation

Utter emptiness

It was theft
A soul
Taken
Stolen from our mortal realm

By what?
A bitter god?
The wisdom of nature?

Was your essence destroyed?
Or are you imprisoned
In a box of one way glass?
watching us still

Do you hear me when I scream your name?
I'd cut off my ears to make the silence quieter
Just incase I missed your reply

But there is no reply
You are taken
Leaving the part of me that was you
empty
I try to cry my heart back together
But my tears are as brittle
As dead leaves from sobbing autumn trees

I don't know how this world works without you
I'm lost
maybe that's what they mean...
They're sorry I'm lost
