Soft Sway

By Sin

Touch me Darling
I want to make love
or perhaps art
right here on the floor

I'm feeling a bit dangerous tonight
like a little Sinatra or Cole
So lets dance

Don't be worried
I'm a sure thing
with this skirt and red lips

But lets take it slow
and build the burn
draw it out
til we're just flames

Because our love is a slow sway
something like grey skies and jazz
without an umbrella

But of course
I've always thought of you as a blues man
someone with the soul the likes of Clapton
or perhaps a modern Bogart

And of all the hearts
in all the world
you had to waltz into mine
with that slick sin smile
and swagger you carry about

But I'm a jitterbug baby
something smoke filled and slinky
just a touch on the sultry side
with a faster pace

And just sometimes
I want to make love like war
raging and brutal
til your smiles become hungry
and wolf-like

Because ours is a wingtip
and stiletto whirlwind of a romance
a double shot of whiskey and honey
to tease the tongue

And I'll savor you all the way down
as I'm lost in your eyes and arms
Where all sin is absolved
within the dimple of your smile

Yes, lets make love
right here on the floor
while they all watch with envy

Lets be the song
and the dance

Because ours is a soft sway
hip to hip
a steady ache
a slow burn

Sinfulicious!!! I miss you so much, and isn't this a tasty little treat for my ears. Wow, I seriously sway to this in the most romantic way. I love how it is inspired which really adds to the appeal because it is like a story between the two poems. I LOVE.

Oh, I really, REALLY enjoyed this. Beautiful, sensual, excellent metre/tempo. Gorgeous and subsuming. Sexy without forcing the point; now, this is erotic. Loved it.

This was a fantastic way to explode back onto the DP scene! This poem was soft and sexy and sweet with just a touch of humor and hard animal sex... lovely.

now THAT is sexy. erotica and elegance..."Because ours is a wingtip and stiletto whirlwind of a romance a double shot of whiskey and honey to tease the tongue". Bravo! Oh, and I loved the allusion to Casablanca. Such inviting images. I'll be bookmarking this one when my account upgrades. Thanks for the great read!

"Because our love is a slow sway something like grey skies and jazz without an umbrella" There's those lines. Some of my favorites of all time. Writes in this style need to capture, and present a certain mood, and this does. Perfectly. Sensuous, and balmy warm. Oh, so crazy sexy. I really love this, babe, and I'm so glad you decided to post.
