A Night to Forget

By Lylani

If I had one night with you
That I knew you would never remember
I'd tell you the things I never say
I'd tell you that I love you
That I have always loved you

I'd tell you that My heart breaks a little every time you walk away
I'd tell you that all those things I say in jest are true
That you are the most beautiful of all
That I waste hours daydreaming of you

Hmm....

I would tell you that there is nothing more exquisite to me than you
In this whole crazy world

But you would never believe me
because I'm just that girl
The one who jokes and giggles
So you don't realise that I adore you

because if you knew, you wouldn't call
You'd be a gentleman and say you don't want to hurt me
or mess with my head
So I will be satisfied with my daydreams
and the little part of you I have
That's never really enough

You've taken the words right out of my mouth. Funny how I stumbled across this one, the same time that I'm feeling the same way. Great job!
