When Your Lover Turns Into A Zombie...

By LiP Stiches

A scratch
Creates a line in the flesh...
It tries to release the soul
And the warmth...

But...You hold your hands up
To catch what little hope escapes
And wash it away.

A force so strong
Hits you in the chest!
You can't catch your breath
While clutching  your heart!

A soft moan surrounds you
The tears begin to flow
Words wont hurt you now....you must run!

A quickened beat creates fear
The air cuts into your lungs
A fire erupts
you voice is but a whisper.....Don't you dare shout!

Your sent flows to them
A hunger that will never be fulfilled
It wont stop following you
You must survive.....Don't even look back!

A hand reaches out...
It grasps the air around you.
The wind flirts with decaying dreams
Screams rise with the bile
This is the end....

or is it?

awesome poem! "is it the end"? no frikkin way, there beasts, the undead, the living dead! they will always need the flesh to survive. and we are many, they are few. but they thrive! kick ass lip stitches i love a good zombie read.
