  • "That last state of grace...we are fortunate if we are allowed more than one or two, and beyond blessed for a third. So good to read you again Sean and the closing LH/RH business was striking once deciphered. Cheers my friend! - Dan"

  • "A softly spoken tribute and profession of a love that was, and will be; if only in memory. Prayerful and poignant perfection - well said Sean! - Dan"

  • "Sounds like a long distance romance that only becomes more heated in the absence Sean. Nothing better than the soothing beat of angel wings to cool the fevered brow. Keep those horns filed and she'll never know (yes she will) - Dan"

  • "It's not such a long time, really. Nice imagery Sean and the couplets gave just the right amount of roominess to let it sink-in and yet convey the feeling of space. BTW - nobody ever mentions the much neglected inner rim. Sweetly said laddie!"

  • "A noble endeavor to be sure: and leave a few books of craziness, sleazy, mindless, perversity, and wanton / wayward wisdom for my contribution (got to keep it interesting). Labella Blue is a treasure beyond the smoothness of her tranquil name. Cheers guys!"

  • "Aye Sean - last line first stanza "a part" maybe? But then it does work both ways too! You are getting squishy on me and I shall now write a poem that you just inspired with "Fields of Fried Chicken" (like my brain) - cheers laddie!"

  • "In the land of the blind, the man with one eye is king... Feeling numb is OK - just a precursor to feeling something else in the spectrum of feelings. I watched my poetry turn to shit, and knew it was time to make some changes. Meanwhile, fighting much of the same emotions, or lack of . When hard-earned respect has fled, anything goes in the backdraft to someplace else. Burning bridges and moving-on (now where did that come from?). Cheers Sean!"

  • "Sean you old softie! This was extravagantly evangelizing the female pulchritude that exudes control in all we say and do. Just keep it quiet lest they know the power they hold in delicate hands and iron wills, cheers lad!"
