Our Everything

By Sean Mc Shane

Deep down in the fairy tale realms
She guides me in on a sweet dream
under a flashing magenta sky
just over the silver blue stream

on the edge of a mystical green forest
We follow along Our Emerald Path
happily rewarded by the gods of Love
often hunted by those of a jealous wrath

but We stand Our Ground where ever We stand
the only fight is the good fight
Our enemies fall into defeated history by day
then we become One in the victory of Our Night

They sing Our Names in the Astral Temples
songs about Us when We're together again
and when We decide to fly away awhile
We visit the realms where They have never been

We rule the nights of these fantastic worlds
what a glorious feeling to be their creator
some days drag on when We're not together
but We know we'll meet on Our Cloud later

sometimes it feels like it's light years away
but I know it's really not that far
I have no problem finding my way back
I just look for my Angel circling Our Star

She shields me from the pull of nightmare worlds
that are full of lust, broken trust and hate
all that is blown away by the wind of Her wings
the calming power of my heavenly Soulmate

especially at the end of a long tiring day
when She tells me, soon everything will be alright
with a two-way invitation to Our Cloud
that always comes with an I Love You and a Nighty Night

Sounds like a long distance romance that only becomes more heated in the absence Sean. Nothing better than the soothing beat of angel wings to cool the fevered brow. Keep those horns filed and she'll never know (yes she will) - Dan

Penned to perfection, those heartstrings are tugging again.. the only real thing. How can I say? This made me die inside and urges me to reach out to One I long forgot.. thank You so much!!

sounds like the days of comfort in anothers words are missed dearly. I love how you used some of the elements of fantasy to express your longing for this person. I think its beautiful and you did a great job piecing this together. awesome sean!

That was really well done Sean, took me on a journey ya did. This one runs deep, doesn't it? Beyond devastating, yeah I know that feeling too. To miss someone that deeply, the love had to have been almost unimaginably strong. I miss someone like that still as well. Awesome job dude, as always.............. ~ACE~
