Ball Nut pt I

I was invited to the most glamorous party
hosted by the nicest, richest, coolest folks
a massive spread of the finest foods
top shelf drinks and appropriate jokes
the Ladies were so immaculate and graceful
and the Gentlemen were at their proper best
this was an extravagant, elegant ball
one that will certainly outdo all of the rest
And there she was in all her stunning beauty
atop the stairs was my one true love
my dreamscape angel in a flowing white gown
she was surely sent from high above
with her ever loving radiant smile
our pounding hearts became one true soul
I gently took her hand, gave it a lil kiss
then escorted her to the gardens for a stroll
the glow of the full moon cast down on white roses
blending them into a mystical shade of blue
I gazed into her eyes, then gave her a soft kiss
I whispered in her ear, " I love you "
. . . then suddenly . . . my meds wore off . . .
