Today is Tomorrow, Yesterday is Just Ahead

Today I will dive into the future's dream . . .

cut thru the currents, so irrelevant
as soon as it gets there, there I went
before the breakdown, of timeless age
I'll feel the spent spell of a lonely mage
the flow will maintain a steadier stop
until the obvious sinks to a forgotten top

Tomorrow, the Sun will meet the Moon for the first time again . . .

you'll know I haven't moved too far
coming full circle around a golden star
I'll hold your hand as night takes the dawn
the cosmic line we cross before it's been drawn
we'll be light years away on our way back
twilight shines in glory before the fade to black

You can count all your Yesterdays before your birth

Do you follow me here Love ?
just close my eyes while you look above
the Earth holds many secrets under Her sea
the never-could-be will always be for you and me
our existence has yet to take form
hear something new in the dreaded norm

Try not to lose what I said . . .

Today is tomorrow,
Yesterday is just ahead
