The Brave and the Bold
By Sean Mc Shane
The Brave and the Bold
like the ship Captains of Old
Sailing into the Great Unknown
where the maps have shown
" Dragons Be Here "
still feeling no fear
of falling off into sheer Nothingness
I'll sing my prayers and hope God will bless
as I boldly go
where everyone has gone before
and everyone eventually will
wondering what lies in store
with no hesitation
or even a care
as long as something
pushes me there
where no one has returned
unless a spirit or a ghost
I'll remember the fairy tales
I wish to believe the most
for I am the Captain of this vessel
as well as it's gallant crew
so I will make a toast to the Known
now, farewell and ado . . .
