Just the little things she says
the way she sees it all
there's always something so special
whenever I recall

They echo softly in my mind
like a cool song that wants to stay
and a love song as sweet as ours
well that's more than okay

something simple she said about her day
that still makes me chuckle and smile
and just like that cool love song
it goes on and on for quite awhile

Her written words I love to read
then I watch them bloom way out there
in a beautiful place beyond all dreams
a secret only we two can share

as blissfully enchanting as we know it to be
our mortal minds cannot remember
so the warmth in our hearts let us know
that our time was passionate and tender 

we don't really need to say it anymore
though we still do all the time
I guess because my heart holds hers
as her heart holds mine

and it would feel so awkward and wrong
to not say something that's so right
like, I'll see you on our cloud soon -
sleep well my love and nighty night

then as my smilin' eyes close on the day
my heart, my soul, and my mind sings
a sweet, elegant, cosmic medley
made up of all the little things . . .
