- ":( I'm sorry. The past is the past and can't be forgotten. But it can be forgiven. And when old hurts pop up...suddenly and unexpected just know that the pain is only residual, lacking any fuel (anger, blame, resentment....bitterness). And I think this is true for both of us. Bubbles will likely be surfacing for years to come...but they will always pop before they get to big and imposing.
This is a beautiful poem, and I'm sorry you were inspired to write it. A human beings true novelty of soul is that we are never who were were then....and never will be who we are right now again.
I love you. You are a warm, kind and sincere person and my world would be only a simple existence had you never entered it.
Don't hate on yourself, for the past...I don't."
