Gone

By Cherry Bear

The rain beats against the window,
Barely can I breathe.
My tears are causing my vision to blur.
Pounding harshly my heart,
Trembling takes over my body.
My words are lost,
For the voice I need is unfound,
Arm stiff to my side,
Holding tight to not reach out,
I don’t want you,
Or at least I try and tell myself.
Not going to pull you back this time,
I finally close my eyes.
Yet I can’t let you leave with out a good bye.
Softly I whisper almost you do not hear,
It stops you in your tracks.
Turning about you say it back,
Fallowed by an I love you.
I struggling mange out a I don’t you.
With that you’re gone.
With that you’re gone.
With that I am gone.
With that I am gone.
