How can I live with you
falling apart underground?
How am I supposed to move on
when I keep
noticing
that you're not around?
This new year has grown old
so quickly
It walks slowly like bones aching,
and I cannot be consoled
because
where there used to be a space
of conversations
and music
there is now only

-space-

(darkness under the taking)
I have been left blank, and shaking
I know not what to say or
how to love
but I have lost
and
I do not wish to bring you back
so I could say goodbye, because
goodbye only means you'll leave again
and that's like losing a friend again
and leaving is always
the hardest part...

-things fall apart-

I've been here before. When all you can feel and all that strikes you is the desire to recapture a time that was perfect, but you're so afraid that bringing them back will destroy you all the more, because it is all you can do to keep yourself from seeking their comfort.

ouch.such a longing in this that it pains my skin...you have etched out such a feeling and emotion with your words...piercing and honest, truely a heartfelt piece.
