we wore it well
By ashrain
murmers follow the flow
tidals waves of clarity
in the meakest of hearts
feel forward in the dark
seeking nitches
for hand holds
tug onward into daylight
and find happy faces
to look at with happy days
will they struggle with the words
with the love
will they wear it well
on their sleeves
to show all the signs of the times
we crash hard
upon the rocks
and lay in somber silence
with the dead
whispers carried
on winds of atmospheric warmth
to melt the solidity
of resolves
the harshness in beasts
subsides within
the serenity of the tiniest creatures
fall farther
deeper into this cavernous love
this typhoon of everything
smashing into the obsitcals
breaking them with our bodies
as we fall

Delicate. I enjoyed this because of the word choice and original rhythm and meter. Thank you for sharing. :)
