Dragons within my dreams
Burned everything
Charred thoughts
I brush off the ash
If only to reveal the animosity of my acidic being
Real and yet without any true meaning
Even in my dreams I know I am deceiving
-I understand on a level I dare not embrace-
I am the venom of esoteric thoughts
Even in my dreams I can’t escape
Dire memories of what my waking hours wrought
...The things we seek to hide lead to us dying inside...
