Moments
By Lab Rat
Been doing this for awhile
One foot in front of the
Other
Watching the moments
Spill down my sight
Wrapped
Each individual
A moment in time
Gently
Silently they slip
Like drops of water
Down windowpane
Some leave trails
Tracks
Streaks in the glass
Shooting down like comets
Or grooved like bullets
I have a moment in time
For everything
A memory, a heartbeat
In the fabric of my life
One for everything
I recall them all
Each moment
Each triumph
Every disaster
Cupping them in my hands
Calloused, rough
I toss the moments
Letting them spill down
All over again
Just to watch them dance
Slide
Down the windowpane of my mind
And I recall each
Feel each
Relive each
Here in the dark
Alone
Just me and my moments

We seen to live in the past way more than we should when there are moments to be lived right now.

I wish I did this less than I actually do.
