Whimsy
Lighting now anew, song of spring and air, wind upon the face, wind within the hair, blowing all away, smog and city smoke, dank a soul that wastes, dark are harbor floats, air and light renewed, all within the land, all within a life, sea and air and sand, playing with the breeze, running into surf, swimming to my knees, drawing in the dirt, loving all today, drinking in the noise, bars rouse all within, as drinks are grown toys, play friends are within, the warmth within a throat, warm within a gut, warmth rekindled hope, more than just the booze, one again with man, one again with all, no longer one I stand, leaving loud for still, walking city streets, not just the vagrant, no where I see grief, replaced I now observe, little growing things, little hopes in doubt, hope with fragile wings, still the great spirit, all around enfolds, all of us are one, truth is often told, every blissful dream, every moments peace, in sun and surf I beam, in spring and air I weep.

'hope with fragile wings' -love that. Like CJ says the emotions and spirituality palpable here and I like the rhyming flow too.
