....Pearls & Poems
By SolApathy
Into the darkest depths I do attest
I’ve been before, and still I confess
I desire to surface and take another breath
Upon her chest, I wish to rest
Feel the warmth of her caress
Warm in the knowledge she’ll be here
Despite all my darkness & fears
Her smile cleansing my tears
To her I owe a life never imagined
The burdens of past poems
You can see clear
The darkness I held dear
Faithful companion of razorblade clarity
Darkness and disparity
Bookends of comical darkness encased
A fate long ago, embraced
And yet with her I surface from the darkest depths
Upon her chest, smiling I now, rest
I’ve been before, and still I confess
I desire to surface and take another breath
Upon her chest, I wish to rest
Feel the warmth of her caress
Warm in the knowledge she’ll be here
Despite all my darkness & fears
Her smile cleansing my tears
To her I owe a life never imagined
The burdens of past poems
You can see clear
The darkness I held dear
Faithful companion of razorblade clarity
Darkness and disparity
Bookends of comical darkness encased
A fate long ago, embraced
And yet with her I surface from the darkest depths
Upon her chest, smiling I now, rest
