Strings,Silence, Play, Darkling!
By Nimue44
Who said music only pounds through the walls?
Swirling like oceans of sand or ghost thunderstorms
It simply follows the pulsing of your lust
Hollow— the chest of the violin
Under— the land of crimson Deep
The moving ground
Quaking
Trembling
Sense-dazzle
Nighttide bringer
Strings, silence, play, darkling!
Silverthorn arc
And nightingale striding
Music!
Lightning!
Who said sound is only known in the storm?
Howling like ivory skies or mazes of Rome
It simply cries voiceless secrets of your lust
Hollow— the chest of the violin
Under— the land of crimson Deep
The moving ground
Quaking
Trembling
Sense-dazzle
Nighttime bringer
Strings, silence, play, darkling!
Silverthorn arc
And nightingale striding
Music!
Lightning!
One-thousand-one thunders running through the pages!
Warbirds black and free, graceful against ivory pages!
Ours is the silence and the sound
We create and we destroy
Ours is the noise
Ours is the spark
Ours is the dark
Strings, silence, play, darkling!
Music!
Lightning!

I actually starred the process of musical arraignment in my heart as I read this, strings, followed by a rest...then let the band play! Thank you for invoking that truth of what I am.

And it flows like a tune upon the wind, playing sweet sweet music to all who take the time to hear. Brilliant work.
