Identity Crisis
By megaprime81
Who can i be
If i am not me?
Anyone else would
Be a relief
What do i seek
A different life
I really can't mention
My true intention
When you can't
Stand yourself,
Who can you help
If you're constantly longing
For help yourself
It's a cruel, beautiful
Dark World
Somehow i gotta
Play the part
Of a man whose
Life gets torn apart
The paradox of
Love and life
As death factors in
Who will survive
If no one is fit
And we all will die
I hate to live and waste my life
I'd hate to die without a wife
No healing comes
To this tortured heart
Dyslexic as i am
At times
A paradox
To impart in me
God gets the last laugh
On my gloom n' mis'ry
It's a paradox of love and hate
One preceeding the other
If i can't figure it out
Why should you bother?
I'm as good as dead

"The paradox of Love and life As death factors in Who will survive If no one is fit And we all will die" This was my favorite part. But it all flowed beautifully - capturing the emotion behind the words. This was well done.

Sorrowful and soulful and perhaps we are only animals at heart and not meant to ponder such things except for a few who see through the veneer of humanity, cheers!

The Moon smiles upon your darkness. Washing through your tortured soul. Embrace the chilled wind because it whispers your sorrows forever and again. The smiling beast transcends within:)~ Nice gloom and doom *
