Ravens Wings

Weep for me my blackened rose
dripping your blackened blood all over the floor.
Hearts beat faster
as Ravens caw at your door.
Fowl or beast
I took a look inside a heart made up of blackened oil.
I saw nothing but an ink smear from a broken quill,
plucked from the same Raven
I once called a beast.
It shouts to me through cracks in my darkened walls
room is fluttering of feathers so black
what a beast this Raven is
scratching smearing ink in my thoughts.
Leaving my heart to putter and to mutter through.
I soon will be leaving this darkened room,
to venture out on Ravens wings.
