Strangers in the night...

By Sketso

I don't need tomorrow,
or a hundred yesterdays,
not the whisper of a slave
or the leash of a master,
but rather...

just a moment

a quick reminder

something primal

maybe you,
with no regrets

all that bit about "exchanging glances" can happen later, when we cater
to nothing more than the twinkle in our eyes,

and live our separate lives.
