Riptide ( poetic ocean)

By Stephanie Sideways

The layers of comments
fall on top
Like in the making of
sedimentary rock
And fossilised
amongst opinions
are thanks for support
In this dominion

The layers of words,
whether many or few
Will recycle our eyes
to Poets new
So we can deposit
some thought of ours
Big apologies if it takes
more than a few hours

Hey where are the poems
in this analogy
They are the beautiful
deep dark Sea
That laps and swirls
with riptides of emotions
We take pleasure in swimming
in the poetic ocean!

...you're right, there is more to this dominion than the poetry, notably composing tiny personal poems for these comment windows...

How about a reference to skinny dipping maybe, in the nakedness of our emotions? Marvelous metaphor, thanks Stephy!

Ok, so what does it need to make it really interesting and good? Would really appreciate someone telling me. :-)
