Our Black Bird!

By M Morgan

who's singing in the worst hours?
for remember our guilts and sufferings
singin his lament for all of us
in your observation tree
if you are not there, he is there
seek us by our eyes
And deeply found us
with your dark feather
with your nightly hug.

Author's Note:

This black bird startled me throughout childhood. He only sings at nightfall and is a song sad and melancholy.

There must be a reason for such song at that time. And taken in time of no reason it haunts us in our mind.
