Blackness Rising

By rosemaiden

Droplets falling in the lucid moonlight
Spirits rising up in sight
Cry oh fallen of the damned
From all beauty you were banned

Veins run through the leaves
Portraying the wisdom of the elder trees
Dissect the weak and the meek
Tis power you seek

Take whats yours and leave the rest
For the insects to infest
