Dear Ballerina

By rosemaiden

Dear ballerina why do you dance?
Is it to escape the madness?

Dear ballerina I'm stuck in a trance
Lured in by your sadness

Your movements are graceful and strong
But this short time is not enough for your suffering is long

Your body shows pain
For you were hurt over and over again

Run away in this dance
It's your last chance

For when you finish this song
You'll have to go home and then you'll be gone

And all thats left is the mark of your love
Spilled out in a puddle of blood....
