Midnight's Dominion

Midnight's Dominion

This world full of broken mirrors-
Taken over by your fears-
Distorted things reflected-
The Self by Self, rejected.

Hidden in the darkest places-
Forgetting memories, names, and faces-
Where nothing is like what it seems-
For all these broken dreams.

Every wish and every way-
Was lost just like the light and day-
Every person lives in misery-
And there is nothing left to see.

There is no hope, no sun will rise-
No God can light these darkened skies-
For every thing that was the Light-
Was un-created in the Night.

Nothing of the Day remains-
In this place where Sorrow reigns-
No living mortal has opinion-
Here, within Midnight's Dominion.

Another sick write, the darkness snuffing out the light and consuming the world in a shroud, that image brings a sort of peace that light cannot, amazing piece. Scholar
