Children Of Bathory

By HeadpatSlut

After having been imprisoned in her own castle for more than forty years, the Blood Countess Elizabeth Bathory died alone in her bedchamber. Having drank and bathed in the blood more than two-hundred female slaves to prolong her life and beauty, it was widely believed that she had sold herself to Satan, though the maids and servants that witnessed firsthand her actions knew better. Though it was never officially recorded, Bathory birthed seven children, fathered by the guards who kept her confined to the castle. Five if the children were killed by the guards at birth or aborted with ergot, but two children, a boy and a girl, were able to survive with the aid of a philanthropic servant.

The two children were secretly sold into slavery, and both were eventually taken in by a certain Baron Orougaul who lived in a castle out in the country side, where after his death, a small village took his name as their own and the two children were to inherit the castle. As it so happened, the eldest of the two, the girl, who was then twenty, was left with the legal title for the land of both the castle and most of the small village, as boy was then barely old enough to be weaned off of a nurse's teat.

Over the next ten years, the daughter, who had styled herself Countess Jessica Bathory of Orougal, had been driven to madness for want of a lover and family, to the point where began to feel a lover's passion for her younger brother, who was no older than thirteen on her thirty-second birthday.

Considering how the two children grew up, it was amazing how the two developed as they grew. Jessica had grown to height of six feet, she was not fat nor large as were women of such standing at the time, nor was she slender as a peasant, but her figure had developed quite exquisitely. By chance a single resident of the village had grown up in the same region as Elizabeth had, and in a manuscript he was quoted as having said "Jessica was truly a marvel of beauty, if indeed her mother had sold her own soul to Satan, than Angels had protected Jessica and blessed her with looks to bring even some of the strongest men to their knees."

By contrast however, Jessica's brother was not of the same luck. Having taken the name of Eric, he was a weak and sickly child, scrawny and weak, he had never grown taller than 5'7". He spent his early adolescent years wandering alone about the castle when he could, as his poor health prevented from him from going out doors. He began to spend time with a female servant his same age, and the two became friends. After a year however, while they had become more than friends, Jessica had grown to hate the girl who stole her brother from her. She waited one night until Eric was sleeping to go into the slave pen with a knife and killed the young girl.

Truth spread quickly through the village of the deed, as well as the fact that Jessica and Eric were born to Bathory, who after her death, was openly hated greatly. The townsfolk began to loathe Jessica and Eric.

Very beautifully written DK. This is a wonderful topic to write about. I've always been interested in Bathory and her sadistic ways. You've described them well. Moving on to part 2.

Just one question - do you mean in the first sentence that Elizabeth had been imprisoned for forty years, or that she was about forty-something when she died in her cell? Because I believe it was the latter... Anyways, I look forward to reading what follows after this promising beginning.

to be honest that's where I forgot to do my research, I think she was around forty or so when she died, but I don't think she was imprisoned for more that five or seven years. Scholar
