Carpe Noctum, An Ode To Darkness
By HeadpatSlut
Capre Noctum, An Ode To Darkness
Forced outside
to suffer and die,
Nobody hears the tears you cry,
Thinking
that you're all alone,
As High King Sorrow takes your throne.
But you are not the only one,
Who has been injured by the
Sun,
By the followers of the Light,
So take a look into the
Night.
I was sent to meet you here.
No reason have you
to feel fear,
If it's your wish, I'll help you fight,
Make your
choice, in Day or Night.
For in the Darkness you will see,
A way to end your Misery,
A group to goin that knows your pain,
For in this Darkness, Night will reign.
At the crossroads
do you stand,
I see you're injured, take my hand,
Tell me where
you want to go,
Tell me what you'd like to know.
As I said,
please make your choice,
Let your heart now speak it's voice,
Shall you live to battle Light,
Or would you rather live with
Night?
I can tell you simply this,
The Night has brought
me plenty bliss,
So if you choose it, take my hand,
In Darkness,
you will understand.
For in this Kingdom called the Night,
We all are free from tragic plight,
"Carpe Noctum" is our vow,
So if you'll join us, swear it now.

well I have trouble with the Seussian sound of it... but I think there's something else.. something deeper missing.... telos... or maybe eigentlich.... meaning..... perhaps........ very well crafted structure, nonetheless.
