Waves and Rain
By Gemini
Waves of peace and waves of pain
Evaporate and turn to rain
Waves of peace that soothe the soul
rejoice the tears that fill
the hole
Waves of pain in epic state
rejoice the tears that wash
the slate
From dawn to dawn at the beach we'd fish
maybe
once a fish to dish
Oh but,
night times moon and rising sun
waves of constant, brothers fun
Grey the curtain of October eve
to the beach the waves beseech
A brother's walk of restless sea
to set a brother's spirit free
From waves of peace to waves of pain
may the spirit of Opklot nourish the rain

There are boys, there are men, and there are people who exude an energy that fills you. There are words, there are kind gestures, and there are acts of absolute selflessness. There are people i meet in passing, people I get to know, and people I will never forget. Dave was the latter of all the groups, and I appreciate the fortitude it took to make such a tribute.

I was unaware you were related, but knowing your borther was an honor that made my life that much better, and even though him passing was like losing a beacon of many things that a person should aspire to be, he gave everything, with no interest in what he would get back... He will be always loved, and sorely missed....

Thank you all !! Dave and I always had deep, caring, introspectivly reflective conversations. Music was a big thing in our lives. We learned empathy from this song , " Old and Wise " by Alan Parsons Project. We could feel the meaning. I think that that is the biggest thing missing,Empathy. Putting ourselves in someone elses heart and see how it feels. You, as I see, feel. What a wonderfull gift. Dave has been there and done that and knew how it felt. Thanks again, Mike

Dave and I would crank that song, the climactic build up in the song is empowering " when they ask you if you knew me remember that you were a friend of mine and the sadness would be lifted from my eyes, when I'm old and wise."

You're brother was a great man, for the few who were honored enough to know him and call him a friend. Your writing reminds me so much of his. You both have that....that depth, that passion in your words. Never stop writing. I hope you find a place here for yourself. We all welcome you ......Dave spoke of you alot. He would be proud.

His is a spirit that could truly nourish the world, his is a rain that could drench the greatest sorrows, his is a person that I'll remember forever. You're an amazing Brother for doing this, and the same talent that Opklot drew from seems to be yours as well. I hope you enjoy your stay here.
