  • "Your step by step metaphors could have made a beautiful sonnet proud, but alas you'll always be free from that form. I really enjoyed it, and when I say that it flowed, it's not just because I'm looking for a positive word to use, it's because it actually had linked metaphors and similes within the same stanzas and did not deviate until the next. So yes, you did exceptionally well, and I mean that with all due literary enthusiasm."

  • "Rightly so, "angels and lesser gods, who've had their time in the sun." wonderful words. The tone of denunciation and enlightening is excellent. *tips hat* "

  • "+1500 GC, haha! Seriously though I did read all of it. Not too bad for the grammar, not perfect but still readable. An interesting ending as well. It may be rather short, yet it maintains its excellence none the less... especially for an assignment. *tips hat*"

  • "I was thinking something along one of those lines... "...watch the thing you loved most / slip away from you" You seem to have put me back to square one though. Excellent words stirring less favorable images, as vividly as most unwanted things do. But I won't drudge on about what this meant to me, you're beginning to move beyond your typical writing here. Capital stuff sir, I look forward to more. *tips hat*"

  • "I love the irony of the title that drips down when every word of this poem clings to "what was" rather than a new age. Oh, and "The world has changed / and the meanings behind those classic love poems / are wilting with their pages." - classic line, exceptionally done. *tips hat*"

  • "You deserve more credit then I can give for this sir. You've come a long way... a very long way. "let me cease to be / May god still his hand / and not pen my life / so much as one more page without you." You're answering the question To be, or not to be, with an answer in deadly affirmative form. I'd go on further but I don't think your ego needs to be stroked anymore. ;) *tips hat* "

  • "Ah, the corruption of passion, or love, whichever. It can produce handcuffs, whips and lotions, but it can also produce broken hearts. I don't know which you fall into, possibly both. I seriously hope you find someone for you. You have a lot to offer someone. Really enjoyed the attempted circular shape of the poem too, nice touch. *tips hat*"

  • "Capital... quite. I love the water imagery, there's always something extraordinary about it. Either I'm reading this differently or your style is changing slightly, but the intro seemed to have a different tone than most of the other pieces. Great stuff though. *tips hat*"

  • "Kind of made me laugh, but it was also pretty hot at the same time. I think it was the reference to doing it with the windows open in the dead of winter... definitely made it worth while. Very good though, I only hope I find a girl who wants it like that. *tips hat*"

  • "This reminds me of Manson for some reason. Anyways, it was a pretty dark portrait, worded rather well. The capital letters were... interesting. *tips hat*"

  • "I thought this was great, seeing sense or logic in the face of a romanticized emotion, infatuation or "love", either one which inhibits the mind. Enjoyed reading it though, *tips hat*"
