Alternate Endings

By TheUltimateOutlaw

There is always something
(Cold)
In the margins.
An unwritten storybook
(Ending)
In which we are spared the classic
(Un)happily
Ever after
Via spontaneous exit
(Stage left)
Aka ill-timed demise
Of pivitol character (A)
Who we will consider
The
(Love) Interest
Of pivitol character (B)
Who is sufficiently heart-broken
(Freed)
By the tragic event
To evoke a sense of
(Change)
(Sorrow)
(Redemption)
Drama,
And leave us feeling
Quite
(Un)fulfilled;
That in the beginning
(The End)

They were
(Are)
Far better

(Off.)

(Really don't ask me whats up with the parentheticals. Apparently my brain works in wierd hypotheticals when I'm exceedingly overtired)

read it once without the parenthesized words then again (with), two works in one...GENIUS, and artful both in the structure and the content
