  • "What this guy said. Thanks for being an artist, your English major etiquette and refined sense of semantic skill is very much missed. I do hope you are well. All the best to you, ms gypsy, always."

  • "I literally felt chills while reading this. Sooner or later, life tends to box every "predator" into seemingly harmless form. But that does not mean that the predator cannot bite one more time. I liked "you're only lawless til you are caught" verse and it's later variation very much and I really loved the last two verses where the poem peaked - it was powerful."

  • "Well fuck me sideways. I loved this! Folding out perfectly, I could even make out the other parts of the story in your pen, mind, hand thing. The part about the Lotus Eaters flowed through me as well, while reading this. Well done, these wisps of longing. "

  • "Yes, yes, yes. That ending stanza ties this whole piece together perfectly. Eloquent, clever, and distinctly painted the whole way through. "

  • "Every metaphor was a mini work-of-art and a sensory firecracker. I was absolutely mesmerized by all of the stimuli when you blindsided me with the final verse. Knocked me out cold. "

  • "I really like this piece, feels like a story, you can see the conversation and the reaction of both characters to it, we clearly see the progress as the poem goes forward. "

  • "Impressed that you know how glue is made, and I feel the third stanza pretty much says it all, eloquently and completely. Sorrowfully wrought and solemnly profound, thanks Carmina."
