Within the Knife
By unspeakable truth
Perfection of time and words
Him all poised, passed out
Beneath the sheets that hold to many secrets
Her defeated and vengeful
Amid the ugliness spewed again
Through lips and fists
The mind does “crack” away in time
Leaving no options
Just this lusting
Of the most sweetest of endings
With the click of the cuffs
He is one with the headboard
Gently she sits on top of him
Knife in hand
Naked so he can feel her soft skin upon his
See the bruising left by his hands
He awakens lost, unsure
That changes fast
How nicely he will stay true to him
Making this almost too easy
The knifes he sees first
One which he himself used to threaten
As the realization hits that he can’t fend her off
He shouts to be let loose
Dares with this she will pay
One tiny trace, from Adams apple to belly button
Her tongue then licks the bit of him flowing
“Did that hurt?” She said with mocking laughter
Seems she has your undivided attention
“A psychotic bitch”, he screamed
Well honestly what would be left?
She became exactly what he made
All remnants of her heart faded
A soul that prays opposite of religious beliefs
While the mind is trapped within the relentless whispering memories
“My darling,
Please look closely.
There is something you need to see.”
Nothing, all she sees of herself
Once nothing envelopes like a soft dressing gown
There really is no room for anything else
Long shallow stokes through pale skin
Up one arm and down the other
The blood flows in entangling swirls
Capturing the lies, the broken promises
Slashes through both breasts
He used sex as a weapon
Across the barren stomach
Another emptiness he provided
To the bent knee, the ankle
Red cascades from her to him
His fear now showing
His silence is most welcome
This death will be as well
Deeply through both wrists
She lays her body on top of his
Breaths her final thoughts
They will know by looking through me…
What you are

Nicely done...I held my breath till the end. Then let a long sigh at the end. Beautiful.
