Circle Of Zenith

By A_Puppet_Show

A circle of insight burn to lure,
know and it shall set you free,
so why the rotting flesh, withering bone?
what is this tainted crown and throne?
why the shackles on my feet!

To be seen a jest,
the only one is I? what of the pyramid-eye?
is such not a way of living?
reach the top in the end,
would it not be easier to set it upside down?
I have; never to light another circle,
claim throne or all-seeing eye,
but to rot all the same.

This is one of your best...it presents its own enigma, the body, the mind, the soul...the problem of the essence, of living...This is something to put on the wall and stare at in quiet moments...
