Soul Reaper

By darkness_descends

He's been around for thousands of years,
Bringing bad news and torture for everyone's ears.
He lives a life of sadness and disdain,
So to the human race he brings eternal torture and pain.
He lives life until the end,
Then he starts all over again.
Each life is always the same,
Technology and years the only change.
Taking every life,
Many billions of times.
He's the sould reaper,
Your eternal keeper.
He takes your life and he takes your sould,
Then he casts you down to a fiery hole.

It' good, but there are a few things I'd like to point out. First off, I like the rhyme scheme you hose for this, there are places where it dies down, and an un-steady structure like that can cause a bit of a speed bump when reading. Secondly, in the second to last line there's a typo, I think you meant to say "SOUL". Also, a couple of lines lack the same iambic meter as the rest, causing another speed bump if you will. As it is, I give it a Six. Scholar
