Angel of Death

I'm but a darkened shadow
In this void of a world.

I've only felt sorrow
And yet you see a little girl.

I haven't an enemy
And yet I have no friends.

I've held hands with suicide
And been allured by the eyes of death.

I've sipped blood from the wrist of satan
And kissed the lips of God.

Danced with all the Demons
And sang with the Angels above.

I've walked with the tortured souls of children
Deep into Satan's lair.

Rode the wagons with bigots
Trying to hide my smiles.

I've journeyed with few to heaven
But I've dragged many to hell.

With just a touch of my hand
Your body will fall to the ground.

Your soul will begin screaming
Oh, what a sweet noise.

And then I will lead you to that promised land
Whether it be heaven or hell.

I don't want to hear you curse me
You have brought this on yourself.

I had nothing to do with your fate
I'm just the Angel of Death.
