To All The Fucking Heroes
By xX pretty vacant Xx
could you fix a porcelain heart
and heal a broken soul?
could you mend a thousand scars
make this life seem a little less old?
could you kiss away the tears
and never tell anyone else?
could you make me dream in colour
and save me from myself?
cos wounds will heal
and scars will fade
but i still feel them
and they don't go away
bruises are hidden
and mirrors can lie
pretty plastic image
but it's all fake in my eyes
could you take a shattered life
and make it something new?
could you take a dying heart
and hold it close to you?
could you feel this perfect anger
and be there when i cry?
could you take me by the hand
and bring me back to life?
i only ask
because i'm afraid
and there's nothing there
to get me through today
i'm only screaming
to try make you see
past the pretty plastic image
this is the real me
i only ask
cos i'm so fucking afraid
and i can't find a thing
to help me through today...

that was very good, i'm kind of critical when it comes to poetry since i love it so much. and that was really fuckin good, it sounds a lot like a reflection of myself, even my poetry.
i love it.

I thank Amber here for pointing out this poem. It is great. I really like it cuz it represents the other end of the spectrum on a piece I just wrote. *sigh* Awesome. :::OLd
