Fingertips...

By A Velvet Tongue

There..
On the tips
of my
fingers
just out
of reach

a rush..

ready to devour
captured breath
a golden
thread
spun
of delirium

floating
in yen..
well traveled
as it connects
to acquiescence

an eyelid
flutters
lush lips
follow a wink
towards banter

a smile
graces
racing a chakra
to the core
of you..

locking..

two gazes
to flood anonymity
impregnating..
Venus's
hunger

come
closer still
your scent
lingers..
I know you..
your name..

breathless

..it's on
the tips of my fingers....
