This Night
By GreekPhilosopher
Lonely blue stars surround this night
Absorbing the silver eyed sight
Created by wandering minds
This night
Alone for all to see in the dark this night
Hounded by past mistakes shining bright
And simplicity fades
This night
Reason runs through my fingers this night
Deliberately false sounds cause fright
Sending hot chills
This night
Hours crawl feverishly through this night
Huge allegations close in tight
[And all I can wonder]
Will I survive
This night

I feel the calm terror that coats this piece with a sheet of ice- still and frightening.
